Artist Brief for High Street West Mural
Site 02 / Abstract Sunshine
Project Delivery Team: Art of Protest Projects
Release date 24 August, 2023
Project Overview
We are seeking a talented digital artist to create a vibrant and captivating mural design that embodies the theme of "Abstract Sunshine." The mural will be prominently displayed in a high-traffic urban area, adding an element of vibrancy and positivity to the surroundings. The design should evoke feelings of joy, energy, and optimism through abstract and dynamic visual elements.
The creative objective for this mural is to blend the vibrant spirit of abstract sunshine with urban aesthetics, resulting in a design that challenges norms and captures the essence of dynamic energy and radiance. The selected artist will be tasked with creating a visual narrative that celebrates the play of light, shadow, and movement inherent in abstract sunshine, bringing a sense of curiosity and wonder to viewers.
Location
Site 02 is The Corner Shop (permanently closed and vacant) - part of Sunniside Leisure on High Street West
