Workshops - Inspiring Creativity

Creative workshops are a crucial way to involve the community and pull them into a creative headspace, giving people autonomy and ownership of the Future Walls Programme.

Over the past two years, the AOP team had the privilege of visiting many local schools and businesses, talking to local residents and understanding what they want to see on their walls.

Through an incredibly rigorous process, we have creatively engaged with over 2,000 people, taking them through the steps of creating their own spray-painted art. We attended festivals and events where we held spray paint and stencil workshops, inviting both residents and visitors to learn new skills. The designs created were then used as inspiration for the murals that have popped up around the city.
