Future Walls’ Launch Mural Trail by The Postman

To kick-start the Future Walls Programme and draw attention to our mission of enhancing the urban aesthetic of Sunderland, we brought in the internationally acclaimed duo The Postman to design and deliver a six piece Paste-up mural trail. The characters featured in the murals were carefully selected by, representing people who are connected to or important figures in Sunderland. Curated by the Future Walls team with local business partnerships, the temporary murals were installed in July, 2023 and can be found in the key areas placed around Sunniside, the heart of Sunderland’s creative community,.
